Too edgy for regular viewing but my son who is 30-something loves it. He has some brilliant sketches though and I do find myself laughing out loud at many of them.

Very funny, two of my favorite episodes were the pimp hater awards and the dice game when they get robbed.

Very funny stuff. Wayne Brady doing a Training Day/Denzel Washington type character is timeless! Charlie Murphy's Hollywood stories about Rick James is a riot! I love this show.

*bad attempt to imitate Chappelle in imitating an '80's pop icon*

One of the funnier shows on TV. Often irreverent, always clever, occasionally laugh-out-loud funny...Bravo Chappelle!

this is a very good show. there are some hilarious bits as well as some that aren't that great but overall, it is funny. i don't like the damn rap musical guests that are at the end of every episode.

It has funny moments... but don't blink, you might miss it. It's very low intelligence humor.

chappelle is one of the funniest men out there right now. The white supremacist, and real world skits are hilarious. On the topic of dave chappelle, pick up the dvd Killing Me Softly and you will not be dissapointed.

I love the Chappele Show! I love it so much that I'm actually writing a persuasive essay on it. I think everyone is entitled to their opinion, but you have to know what real comedy is, and this is real comedy.

I'M RICK JAMES B*TCH. Okay, so that is played out, but admit, you laughed when you first heard it. I love Chapelle show, I especially enjoyed, you guessed it, the one with Rick James, Charlie Murphy's True Hollywood Stories. I ALSO LOVED THE ONE WHERE CHAPELLE DID A PARODY OF R.KELLY'S VIDEO! OMFG! SOOOOOOOO FUNNY! I was eaing cereal when I saw it for the first time and spilled everything on the ground. I DONT THINK I'VE EVER LAUGHED THAT HARD! I hope Charlie Murphy is back next season! Can't wait for next season! GO CHAPELLE!

Great unafraid sketch comedy. The DVD was the highest selling for a TV show in history. Looking forward to more episodes.

To some, Chappelle's Show may be too racey. However, this show has probably been the most shining momentin his entire career (creatively and financially). HE and his co-writer have created very humorous takes on the modern world and certain stereotypes. Congrats. to Dave and Co. for putting on a watchable show, to say the least, on Comedy Central (Something the network has been lacking for a couple of years now).

Terrible excuse for a show. Comedy Central is losing it's touch. If a white person were to tell racist jokes like Chappelle does he'd be off the air in a second. So much for equality huh?

Sometimes it seems like the only thing he does are racist jokes. Why is it OK in our culture for a black comedian to spew racism, but it's considered all but blasphemy if a white comic did similiar jokes? I never understood that.... Chapelle is occassionally funny, but more often he is off-putting and embarassing. Personally, I think this show appeals to folks with latent racist tendencies in their thinking

I guess I just don't get this show. All I ever see from this are played-out racial jokes and excessive usage of the word bitch.

This show is definitely offbeat, but I LOVE it. I would suggest watching it with an open mind. It is unlikely that anyone who watches this show in its entirety could say that Chappelle is racist or mean-spirited. To the contrary, he exudes a great deal of humanity and a sharp, clever wit. He is very creative and unafraid to experiment. He uses humor to make serious philosophical points about life and human behavior, but the viewer has to open up to the Chappelle experience. The first time I saw this show, I only caught part of it, and I was kind of turned off. But something drew me back and this show really grew on me. I don't like everything he does (for example, his L'il John routine never fails to annoy me). But then think of his good bits. To name a few: When Keeping It Real Goes Wrong, White Power, Player Hater's Ball, Race Draft...I could go on and on. So funny!

The best sketch comedy show since In Living Color during its heyday. Chappelle ain't afraid to take on any racial taboo. He (thankfully) never heard of political correctness. He fills the niche of the Tell it Like it is Black Comic that was once occupied by Richard Pryor in the '70s, Eddie Murphy in the '80s, and the Wayans gang in the '90s. Chappelles spoofs of The Real World, Rick James, and the Black White Supremicist were pee your pants hilarious.

Cutting edge humour. He goes in directions no else does...sometimes he falls flat, and other times he's right on. Love him or hate him, he's always pushing the envelope. Knows that he cannot take himself too seriously because once he does, his show will bite the dust. My only complaint is that if a white comedian were to do some of the things he does, the NAACP would be all over him like white on rice. Double standard, as usual.

When I heard how many millions of dollars that the talentless hack that is the star of this show was paid for another season of his completely useless show, my jaw figuratively hit the floor. This show, which seems to be the new star of the ever-disturbing, always-uninspired Comedy Central television network, truly makes me shake my head in sheer disbelief. The show doesnt even pretend to be remotely friendly to families or good guys, the commercials are filled with toxic garbage like bleeped profanity, illegal drug use, and violent acts. Worse than that, the show is completely uninspired. Lets face it, biting social commentary is getting oldalmost every show seems to be doing it? Where have all the good-natured writers gone? They havent gone to this shows writing staff, which is for sure! The show completely lacks a role modelunless they are mocking one of course. There is also a disturbing layer of racism. If the colors of these jokes were reversed, the NAACP would be picketing Comed... Read more

this show is hilarious. no matter how racialy sensitive you are, you've got to admit that a black white supremecist is a funny concept. i actually like the first season better but lots of the second season skits are still funny.

One of the few really funny shows on Comedy Central (when Comedy Central isn't the funniest network available, that's sad). What makes this show successful is that it depicts the world as it is, isn't afraid to make racial/stereotypical jokes (but always is careful not to cross the line) and makes fun of other (usually black) celebrities. The material is fresh, but I wish they'd have reruns during the afternoon since I'm usually busy in the evening.

It has its moments. Somedays I can watch it and burst out laughing, other days I think it was far too disturbing.I don't believe the show caters to racism, even though some of the jokes are too crude for my liking. The man is just making fun of real life situations. I must say though, the time he had Wayne Brady on his show was one of the funniest skits I have seen in a long time.

You can't deny something when it's so blazingly clear. This show is a laugh riot. To those who are critical about how edgy the comedy is, DON'T WATCH! Ohterwise shut the hell up and stop tryng to deny the truth. This show is funny to those of us who live in the real world, where everything isn't all cup cakes and rainbows.

Chappelle's Show is hilarious. I dont think people should be so offended by racial humor. Differences exist between races in the United States, and Dave isn't afraid to make fun of them. And if somebody thinks Dave Chappelle has no talent, then I don't want to know what they think is funny.

I thought Colin Quinn's show was the worst thing on Comedy Central until they came up with this dog. No, it's not the racial/edgy humor that bothers me... it's how badly it's done here. Lame.
