What an amazingly stupid show!!! These people make the lives of people just trying to do their job a living hell. One of the 1st episodes I saw they pranked a 411 operator... which is what I used to be (you know that a 411 operator can get suspended for being on the line for more than 2 minutes, and reprimanded for calls over about 45 seconds). Of course most people that call 411 are idiots anyway so I sort of expected them to do it sooner or later. But that's not what killed the show for me. It's a dimwitted show for dimwitted people. That show was DOA to me... Dumb On Arrival. I gave it 3 chances (I actually sat through 3 whole episodes!!!).

You mean to tell me someone's getting paid for this garbage. Come on Comedy Central! I'd rather watch the Weather Channel, I bet I'd find better entertainment there than with Crank Yankers.

It truly boggles the mind when one of the most crude, gross, mean-natured shows stars...a bunch of Muppet-esque puppets. But, don't be confused, this is not the Muppet Show or even Muppets Tonight. This is useless raunch. On the whole, I object to any mean-natured prank (I still believe that house-rolling is against the law, regardless of what some of my peers say) and thus the concept of the show is not good. Their is also profanity, sexual references, bodily-functions humor and other gross stuff. Also, the voice acting is plain awful. A terrible show that shows that exemplifies the uselessness of Comedy Central.

The show has some pretty good skits, if you can sit through some really bad ones. I'm Batman was a classic, and Special Ed kills me every time. I saw Jim Florentine (the voice of Special Ed and Bobby Fletcher) at a comedy club, he's a really good comedian in his own right who seems to be a little tired of Yay, I'm going to Hawaii, understandably so.

Although I usually find prank calls pretty funny, Crank Yankers is just about as unfunny as they come. Although the premise and setup of the show is interesting, most of the calls fall short of actually being funny. It seems to me that the people that are prank called are far too polite, and most often respond with Oh, I'm sorry, sir, but we don't sell that. or Thank you for calling, but I'm afraid we're not currently offering that service., or something of that sort. The people being called show very little reaction, if any, which makes for a fairly boring show. I do think, however, that this show has potential, if only they could make them a bit funnier, and a bit more appropriate as well, as the humour isn't always suitable for all viewers, and is sometimes outright distasteful.

THIS SHOW ROCKS!! I love the English dude, he is one sick puppet. When he called the hardware store to ask about caulk I was rolling on the floor. Everyone that has crapped on this show needs to give it another chance, it will grow on you!

This show is incredably hilarious! Adam Corolla and Jimmy Kimmel are geniuses. They have taken something like Sesame Street and flipped it around for all of us with sick minds. And it's on Comedy Central what they hell did you expect? If you don't like it stop watching it so you can stop bitching about it!

I really wanted to like this show but the concept of puppets with genitals is a disturbing one. If you watch the episode featuring Tenacious D then you'll know what I'm talking about. Not everyone enjoys seeing a puppet version of Jack Black in the shower.

It's not something that I personally like, but at the same time, there are a few people I know who absolutely worship this show. I think it really depends on your idea of "comedy", but this one just doesn't do it for me. It's worth a shot to watch at least once to see if you'll like it, though--you'll either love it or hate it.

personally, the language doesn't really matter to me. what matters to me is that in some of the episodes, they show graphic puppet nudity and sometimes intense sexual content. but I think somtimes or most of the time the language sort of goes with the story. like the one crank call: "turd in the back seat". and I wouldn't say all of them are bad. for example: special ed is awsome. and so is that one crank call about the touch tone terrorists,"we all get to drink" that one starts to get awsome because the black woman dialed the wrong number and talks to stoned and drunk people and still thinks she dialed the yps. what's more I like the way she get's pissed off! I just wish they'd blur the nudity out. and I hope crank yankers stays on comedy central because when you see the funny ones, you can't get enough of crank yankers! and my main thought is "when good crank yankers are on, the don't kick, they smoke all comedy ass!

This one is not for the easily offended, but luckily I am not that type. I find it hillarious. I don't know how long it will last though, they might get shut down because kids start making prank calls all across america so often that no one else can ever get through. These guys are excellent pranksters...the crank calls are excellently mastered....not the old is your refridgerator running....

Most of the calls are funny, but some of them just aren't. Overall, though, it's worth watching when you're bored.

Some of the skits (e.g., "Special Ed") are in incredibly poor taste and just aren't funny. But overall, I think this show hits the mark for me. The puppets, IMO, make it that much more hilarious--they remind me in a way of "Sesame Street" with a shot of liquor. Only problem I see down the road--how long can this stuff possibly make me laugh? Unfortunately, given the nature of this type comedy, I see it having a shelf life about as long as the "Jerky Boys" (anyone remember them?).

You've gotta give 'em some credit for originality. Some of the more tasteless themes are comedy killers, but this show works surprisingly well.

I've only seen one episode of this show, but from what I saw, it isn't funny. Using puppets to act out crank calls was a good idea, but the calls are just vulgar and stupid, not funny.
