    I bought a computer off Buy.com and two weeks after ordering (9 days after it was supposed to arrive) they told me that when it had arrived to their local shipping contractor it wasn't accepted (because they were closed) so they rerouted it to another customer and now he has it. Furthermore, that was the Last of those computers and they could no longer follow thru with their end of the deal and that I should be expecting a refund........wow. I begged them not to issue a refund as this purchase was a calculated tax write off for my business for the 2012 year and any purchase in 2013 would negate the entire purpose of me (planning for 11 months) on buying this computer. They refunded my money immediately after telling them that. Completely unacceptable. I will hate Buy.com forever now.

    Tried to make 2 purchases through Buy.com, both super low prices. Neither worked out. First one the seller had a "typo" instead of quantity 48 it was supposedly quantity 6. They didn't catch the mistake until I received 24 cups instead of 192 cups! They still have not refunded the money. So I took another chance on some more cups on Buy.com. Made the purchase, checked the order the next day and the purchase had been cancelled for no reason stated!! Refunded the money short 1 penny! Argh! I am on a timeline for a youth camp and they have really set me back! Will never buy from Buy.com again!!

    Placed my order on Sunday evening, book arrived Tuesday morning! WOOT! No problems. Quick delivery. Fair price. Packaging was very sturdy for a thin 7.5" x 10" paperback & the book arrived in perfect condition exactly as described. The book I bought was, "Tachygraphy. the Most Exact and Compendious Method of Short and Swift Writing, That Hath Ever Been Published by Any. Composed by Thomas Shelton." That title kills me! Heh! This book is kind of a big deal so I am very happy to have found it. THANK YOU BUY.COM ! ! !

    I ordered a messenger bag as a gift for a friend who was in town for a limited time. The order came on time, but it was the wrong color. After speaking with a customer service representative through the "chat" feature I became frustrated. This is because now I just payed for shipping to buy the dumb bag and now I am going to have to pay for shipping to send the bag to the person I bought it for. Additionally, it looks like I was not on top of things and bought the gift late or did not buy one at all. I guess it is just really annoying. Buy.com also refused to send it overnight and even if they would, could not guarantee that it would get to me on time buy the end of the week anyways. Overall, I think I will be sticking to Amazon and ebay from now on! buy.com... not for me.

    I ordered an anti-glare screen for my computer the end of October. I had not received it in two weeks, and so I inquired online and by phone (I think). I was told that my order had been canceled because I ordered with a PO Box. No error messages were displayed when I made my order, indicating that I could not ship to a PO Box. I live in a rural community and this is my mailing address. The interesting thing was that on the phone the rep made no attempt to get another address so that I could reorder. So I then requested a refund, which had not yet been given. Two weeks later, I had not gotten a refund in the account I used to order the screen. I went online and sent an email to that effect. It suddenly occurred to me that since I went through PayPal, they may have credited that account instead.     very quick in answering customer's online request. I recently got a laptop case from Buy.com, only to find that it is bigger than what I expected. I contact seller online, and in several back-and-forth conversation, they replied within a couple of hours! Plus, I get what I wanted --- excellent services!

    Ordered a simple DVD from them and had it shipped to a family member. Well, low and behold, they sent the wrong movie(cause they said the one I wanted was out of stock). Upon attempting to return it to them, they were requiring me to pay for return shipping. So, I was gonna cost me $8 to return a $10 DVD. WOW. I wish i had found this website before I made the horrible mistake of purchasing from such a scam website.

    Okay, so lets talk about Buy.com. Whether you might be a purchaser or a seller, Buy.com is NOT the place to be. I've had a couple of BAD buyer experiences with them. I won't go into all the details, but one thing that stinks is that unlike Amazon, Buy, charges sales tax, which, kind of defeats the purpose of trying to find something for a better price then the store down the street. Also, I recently wanted to try selling an item on their website. I had to fill out pages of information, credit card information, bank account numbers, etc. only to be told that they weren't interested in my item for me to sell on their site. You might be asking yourself what horrible thing I was trying to sell that would offend them so much that they wouldn't want to make a little extra cash out of. Adult merchandise? Animal cruelty?     I give this site a ZERO star score. I used to buy with this site often, then it disappeared. Recently I found a good deal on a memory stick which was supposed to sell for 20.99 including shipping and no other costs were mentioned in the ad. When I looked at my bank statement I found that Buy.com had overcharged me for my purchase by almost $7. I contacted them by their email form which promised a response in 24 hours. I contacted them on a Friday afternoon so I did not expect to hear from them until the following Monday, but I never did hear back from them. I do not trust them and will never shop with them again and I would highly advise others to avoid this site like the plague! ! So 0 on honesty and 0 on customer service = no stars. However, since I am forced by this form to give a star, I give the one star only to be able to post this to warn other potential victims.

    Purchased a computer for my dad's birthday. Turns out he doesn't want it, no big deal... for me at least. Buy.com tells you they don't do returns and to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer tells you they don't do returns and to contact Buy.com. Neither respond to multiple inquiries and tick tock tick tock the thirty day return policy is almost up. HORRIFIED a business would run this way not responding to inquiries and having such an obvious lack of customer service. MY RECOMMENDATION IS FIND WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR ELSEWHERE AND PURCHASE IT THERE.

    I am extremely disappointed with Buy.com . I ordered a BlueAnt Zi9 Bluetooth headset that was delivered broken. Actually, the headset worked, it just would not re-charge the battery. The jack that connects the charger to the headset was defective. While trying to find out how to exchange it, I found out Buy.com does not actually sell the product, it is sold through another company (Sage Camera) that has no contact information except for a gmail email account. I sent repeated emails to Sage Camera asking for assistance, and they never replied. Buy.com just kept referring me to Sage Camera. I finally contacted the manufacturer, who said this defect was covered under the warranty. I had to pay shipping to get the device to them, and they told me they will repair it and I should have it back in 3 to 6 weeks.     Order never shipped. Credit card charged. Promised replacement it never shipped. No response to request for phone call from Customer Service on 3 separate attempts (they don't publish a phone number, they promised to call back never did). Shoddy customer service to say the least - my paperboy has better service when there is a problem!

    Terrible. Very bad experience with buy.com. The product is not actually from buy.com and is from some unknown, unheard companies. When I received it, there are parts missing. Call and e-mail buy.com and they just kept refering me to the companies that sell it (even give me the wrong company.) The company did not reply my e-mails and I fed up and don't have time to follow up after something like more than 10 communications with buy.com and companies. I do Not recommend buy.com for others. I recommend www.onecco.com

    I ordered a monitor about 2 months ago. I received a refurbished monitor instead. After several days of trying to reach their customer service via email (they don't have a phone number published) I finally managed to speak to a life person (800-800-0800) and get an RMA number. After several weeks for shiping/processing I got a replacement back - it was again a refurbished monitor!! I called them up which resulted in another RMA number. This time I am going to request my money back and never deal with this store again.

    don't buy anything from Buy.com, I have ordered IPOD 150$ worth and i didn't received the package at all, got this package through the fedex with out signature required, fedex says that they have delivered, but I didn't get this package at all and finally Buy.com is not responsible for this, they have denied my claim, There is no guarantee that you will get your package. caution with BUY.com

I ordered a product 10 days back still in my status it was showing that the product is sent to ware hose. and when i asked those people are saying that the item is out of stock while i ordered . the fact is that when i placed my order the status is instock. The funny thing is that, they will send the same replays for our enquiry. if we inquired more than twice they will not respond at all. They don,t even have service to talk to them , because they don,t want to take the risk from the customers. NEVER BUY A PRODUCT FROM THIS STORE, REMEMBER THE WORST CUSTOMER CARE CENTER THAT IT PROCESSES.

    If they put a small percentage of the amount they paid for the domain name into their support i wouldn't be writing this. They sent the wrong item (though, admittedly, to a clerk it wouldn't seem a large difference) then, when it was sent back and i attempted to cancel the order they responded with a bewildering series of one-way emails (you can't reply directly.. you have to go to their www site to respond) asking for information that was in the response they had just mirrored back. The worst customer service i've experienced from an online vendor.. certainly compared to ebay or amazon.

    Buy.com is an absolutely horrible company. They sent me a dead out of the box MP3 player, supposedly 'reconditioned' and re-inspected. REALLY? The headphone jack was broken upon arrival. I immediately called their customer service (so to speak) and was non-chalantly told to take it up with some warranty company they use. Warranty? It was broken when they put it in the box to send to me. A month after I sent the thing back in at my own $7.70 expense, I've heard nothing and can't even get anyone to respond to my email.

    Buy.com should change their name "rip off.com" email you every day, selling defective product, use open box s an excuse not to issue return....bad, bad, bad very bad. Consumer be aware, this is call rip off.com. Be aware, I think they are selling a lots of refurbished products so they can get ride of a lot of junks and refused to take the defective products back. It is a SCAM. I finally get my credit card Company involve and force them to issuse a credit back to me. They do not response on any defective items and selling a lots of jumks, beware.

    Horrible pricing policies. Ordered 2 1GB SD cards for $10.00 with free shipping. Saw it on another site for $5.50. Buy.com refused to pricematch as the site wasn't a "competitor". Two days later price on buy.com went down to $7.99 with free shipping. Asked for an adjustment to this price. "We cannot adjust the price on deals with free shipping promotions." What a bunch of B.S. both prices included free shipping! Buy.com is a bunch of crooks, look around and you will likely find a better more hassle free deal. I will never do business with buy.com again, and I advise everyone to do the same!

    My recommendation is: stay away from Buy.com here is why: 1. Placing an order is confusing 2. You may or may not receive order confirmation 3. Your CC acount will debit right away - but long wait for delivery 4. Customer service via e-mail is a JOKE! They never respond! 5. Customer service via phone non-existent, where is the phone number? 6. True - you get your RA slip quickly, then... no response 7. No appology for sending wrong item? I am under impression that, at Buy.com a customer is for the company not the company for the customer. By the way, I am still waiting for my order placed in early December to arrive - spring is just around the corner!

    I bought a camera from buy.com on dec 16th and forgoed the free shipping so i could receive it on time for christmas (an extra nine dollars) A full week later, I checked on the status, and it had not even been shipped yet. I called them, after some stress trying to find their customer service number. I was placed on hold for 34 minutes until i hung up. Over the next several days I tried calling with no luck of actually speaking to someone, just being put on hold. Finally, my order updated with a fedex tracking number. AFTER CHRISTMAS. I called again, and spoke to someone who didn't even speak english that well. She REFUSED to refund my extra shipping i paid to ensure christmas delivery, because she said it was in the "time frame" that they allow! I wanted to speak to a manager.     I agree. Stay away. Their service on books is good, everything else is horrible. They shipped the wrong item to me and every contact with them refuses to acknowledge their mistake and demands I pay to return the item, and they MAY refund part of my money. I get stuck paying postage BOTH ways when they make the mistake. A refund of my $20 dollar item I ordered will cost me $14.50 in shipping charges. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

    Stay away. There are other web sites with just as good of prices and better service. If you have inquiries on orders buy.com it takes a couple days minimum to get a response. There shipping is terribly slow and in fact they a month after ording a Christmas present they have no idea where it is? They say it shipped but the carries have no record of it. No price is good enough to deal with these clowns again.

    Buy.com's website is not up to date, meaning it shows items it does not have in stock as being in stock. Once you order one of these out of stock items buy.com makes it difficult or impossible to cancel an order. Just try to find an actual customer service number on buy.com,s web site - the fact that there isn't one should tell you something - STAY AWAY.

    I purchased a Sony PSP from Buy.com because they were offering $20 off when you use google checkout. I attempted to contact customer service regarding a question I had about a return. I emailed them twice (the second email asked for a phone call). After a week and a half, I still had not heard from them. So I tracked down an actual phone number and called customer service. The guy could not help me and told me that a manager could not help me either. I insisted to speak to a supervisor he told me I would have to call back between 9-5 pacific time. I emailed customer service again that day and asked for another phone call. I called back the next day and the number was busy for 30 minutes. I then sat on hold for a half hour and got disconnected.     I ordered 2 items over Thanksgiving for Christmas presents. They were TuneTalk Stereo microphones for ipods. When my daughters tried them they were not compatible with their older ipods.
