HBO Special - Aired Sept 11, 2009 Man does this guy suck big time !! Laughed maby 3 times through 80 minutes !! With his wide, non-blinking eyes he looks like a wooden dummy ! But above all, he is one racist dog.....to think that illegals have the right to take over America is one giant step into la la land. Hey manno, if you have a fxxxing problem with USA, just take the next burro out across the Rio Grande...puto...

We love this show!  Angie's character is so moralistic and annoying (no fault of the actress); the mother is hilarious!  George is awesome!  The actress playing Carmen doesn't seem very polished, but everyone else is clever and fun.

George Lopez's show is AWESOME! You should not cancel the show just move to a different timeslot that won't interfere with American Idol.

This show should be titled SHOUT because everyone is constantly yelling. My husband started watching this and it drove me nuts. Maybe they could be funny without yelling and arguing constantly. Or maybe some people find humor in this. I change the channel.

I actually really enjoy this show sometimes. As with most comedies, sometimes the jokes fall flat but for the majority of the time, it's hilarious. A comedy that features an ethnic family that isn't completely ruled by stereotypes. The acting isn't half-bad but sometimes the writing lacks. A mixed bag for the TGIF lineup.

Latino oriented American tv shows are just now starting to get really popular. But in the comedy area, they have all been really awful. This particular show is ok, but the acting isn't great, and the storylines are kinda boring. They could do so much more with it if they wanted too. But I still think it is better than the WB's already cancelled GREETINGS FROM TUCSON. That show was just too unrealistic. It makes Latinos look violent and dumb, which they are not. And George Lopez himself is a downright bore...

I hate this guy. as an hispanic-american i find his comedy to be stupid. he NEVER tells a joke unless its about being mexican. i hate that. cant he find something else to joke about? i hated when he was at the emmys and said that hispanics swam to america. what kind of crap is that? he also perpetuates stereotypes. i hope his stupid show gets cancelled.

This is a great show. For once there is a show about an ethnic family that doesn't base all of it's comedy on racial humor.

I found this show entertaining--has some laughable situations.

An occasional chuckle here and there, but overall a dull and unoriginal family comedy. Overshined by it's lead-in, My Wife & Kids.
