I heard this guy on Trinity Broadcasting Network (the Christian Television) Praise-a-Thon with a straight face say God gave him a business and a paid for house because he planted a thousand dollar seed-meaning cash.
Todd said there were seven people God said to sow a thousand dollars to that Ministry. Go to the phones he said because the miracle is going to happen when you give the number one thousand dollars!
How do these people get away with mail fraud like that! If this is not false advertisement nothing is! There are people who have made this Network a billion dollar business off this kind of thing! If these people of faith think God will not help them unless they send in a a thousand dollars then they are serving the wrong God. My poor sick relative sent in money and not only did he not get healed but got worst. I never heard that Jesus charged anybody 1,000 for a healing. This is just too disgusting for words. Todd got a paid for house for being a great salesman to desperate, impressionable religious people who really need to read how Jesus helped people for free.
