The Lord of the Rings Trilogy is a masterpiece by J.R.R Tolkien, a masterpiece I have read more than any other book. It is written in an elegant, yet thrilling language, and the plot focuses on the battle between good and evil - hobbits, elfs, dworfes and other creatures on one side, Sauron, Saruman and dark creatures on the other.
The fellowship of the ring starts out with nine Companions - Pippin, Merry, Frodo, Sam, Boromir, Gandalf, Legolas, Gimli and Aragorn. Frodo is chosen to carry the ring to Mordor, a dark and Dangerous task that might claim his life. As Readers, we get to experience the effect the One Ring has on every character, from fear to power hunger, or simply fascination. The nine travel Middle Earth as a fellowship, and unlikely friendships are created, but dangers are always waiting, as Sarumann has sent Dark Riders to collect Frodo and the One ring.
This plot is so detailed, so full of plot and action that I simply cannot tell it all, but this masterpiece classic is surely a novel everyone ought to read sooner or later, given that one enjoys fantasy novels the size of a pregnant brick...
This book has everything - great friendship, epic love, Witty characters, great drama, intense Battle scenes and so much more! I highly recommend this book, you won`t regret having read it!
